“Exactly! Parents are allowing teachers to raise their children.”

Thanks. While there are plenty of parent who cannot afford to educate their kids outside of public schools (with the implication of keeping up their lifestyle), if I can reach JUST ONE PARENT and save ONE KID from this disaster, all of my annoying comments will have been worth it.

...so I’ll keep trying.

“Parents are allowing teachers to raise their children.”

I should have clarified the above statement. Parents should be monitoring homework, friends, social media. Parents should be parenting not babysitting. My parents knew every move I made including what I was being taught in school. I had guidance from my parents to offset bad teachers, bad friends, bad choices. If parents instill values at an early age, outside influences can be quieted.
