Second, even if true it makes us wonder why we don’t just attack Turkish armor from the air and settle this.

The Kurds can handle the Turks if we neutralize their armor and air cover. And that’s an easy task for the USAF.

Easy.

Probably because Putin and Rouhani where in Turkey today having a confab with Erdogan.

The problem is Russia. They are acting in their own interests. They bag Turkey in their sphere and grab all the chips. Where does Iran fit in? They get most of Syria?

Not simple math.
