The acceptable term has changed five or six times in my lifetime.
“ongoing”
"Colored" was routinely used by everyone when I was in parts of Florida, Georgia and Alabama. I never connoted a racial slur from it. Racism/bigotry is a state of mind from anyone no matter what the skin color or racial makeup.
If the DNC and Left lost the race card, they would lose most of their power and influence.
