People of color vs colored people - sounds the same to me. The problem is of course, the ‘colored people’ was a southern term used to demean these people; same as the term ‘darkie’.
Since the Democrat party insists on telling white people that brown people and black people are discriminated against by white people - is it any wonder that color terms are used in language now by everyone.
These people need to lighten up - or - quit using the terms of color completely. The of people’s skin is irrelevent.
