From the article: “What Mueller has done for over a year is occupy the mainstream media and unhinged NeverTrumpers with an ‘investigation’ that seems to move further away from Donald Trump every day and ever closer to Hillary Clinton, members of the FBI involved in a quasi-coup, and even the Democratic National Committee.”
I’m tired of this 3-D chess. I want some rock-paper-scissors-jail.
If true, a big debt of gratitude is owed to the Sessions bashers for keeping the ruse intact.
Ya know, it kinda sucks being a realist/pessimist/skeptic. I’ve been waiting with fading hopes since 42 was elected to see one of these bad players face justice, and it’s hard to summon up any enthusiasm that ‘this time, it’s gonna happen.’
Still, I can’t let myself drown in cynicism and believe that there are no honest men left — even in D.C. And, as I get along in years, my desire to hang on a bit longer is fueled by the slim chance that some of these criminals are going to (finally) go down.
Odd incentive to live, I guess, but I need something to hang my hat on. Not asking for pity, but another thing I’ve waited for, but will probably never see...
Well, I’ll let you guess: I live in the Detroit area, so my defacto football team is the Lions. So tired of being on the losing end of things...
“Yet what has Mueller done?”
He has made a pile of cash for himself and his rat cronies!
Larry, How do you square this with the interpretation of Sundance at Conservative Treehouse?
Bump.
Good read, LS
Thanx for posting here
Sounds like an Absinthe-fueled delusion.
This fourth branch of government is 100% unconstitutional.
I guess we will find out soon enough. My take is Mueller started with the premise that there was real substance behind the Russian allegations and was putting the screws to Trump associates. When he took out Flynn on Dec 1 the white hats had to let Mueller know he was going to look rather foolish in the near future. The Strozk-Page text messages started to leak out. Bruce Ohr got his first demotion and the Fusion GPS story started to crack wide open with the release of the banking records.
If any of this fairytale were true, Clapper would have been charged before the statute of limitations ran out on his brazen perjury. If they couldn’t indict Deep State Trump-hating loudmouth Clapper for a much more serious case of perjury than the pathetic gotcha Flynn lost his house for, it’s all a sham.
Wake up folks; there are multiple attempts, both intentional and unintentional, to lure you into complete complacency and a false sense of security. Mueller's JOB is to run interference for the deep state, that's what he and Rosenstein have done their entire careers. Don't be fooled.

With LS’ credential one would think he is spot on...If he could throw in there how that Rosenstein, Mueller and Comey are long time comrades and how Mueller is providing cover for Trump while leading hardcore Trump haters/Clinton donors as his investigative force, it may persuade me to take this idea more seriously...
I’m still just watching all this, but I did go back and look how long it took from the Watergate break in to convictions, and it was about 3 years. Also, at a glance, most of the convictions seem to have been for perjury. What happens in the aftermath of the released OIG report will be a major clue as to whether we are seeing master chess playing in action or just more of the same DC corruption.
I like this explanation, from another site’s comments:
It’s also possible that both Mueller and Rosenstein have finally been caught in the middle of one of their shenanigans and that, both being survivors and now necessarily in survival mode, have agreed to go along with both AG Sessions and President Trump, maintaining a fiction while IG Horowitz and DOJ Prosecutor Huber proceed to bring down everyone involved in the Obama administration corruption and the later attempt to take down a duly-elected president.
Note that the recent revealing of an August 2nd memorandum from Rosenstein to Mueller served to limit Mueller’s investigation to certain areas, most of them redacted. At the end, however, it specifically removes Mueller’s original authorization to go wherever his investigation leads. He can no longer do that without clearing it with Rosenstein, and hence with Sessions.
My reading of it now is that Mueller and Rosenstein are not White Hats, that they might have been sympathetic to several Black Hats, but that they are now trying to save their skins before quietly exiting stage right around the time Horowitz and Huber wrap the whole mess up with multiple indictments and convictions.
This reading allows for Mueller and Rosenstein’s duplicitous past while explaining President Trump’s apparent reluctance to tag either of them with a nasty name.
