For America — If we have some moral obligation to take in crime and economic refugees shouldn’t that mean that our moral obligation extends to initiating regime changes in these countries?

Exactly. We (U.S.) have been a pressure cooker outlet for Mexican young, restless, discontented since WWII. If we shut down illegal immigration these people will be forced to look inward for solutions. Such as cleaning up drug cartels and political corruption.....
