Liberal candidate Rebecca Dallet has won election to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, according to Decision Desk. Dallet defeated her conservative opponent for the open seat, Michael Screnock easily, and her victory will cut the conservative majority on the court from 5-2 to just 4-3.
Dallets win is yet another example of liberal voter enthusiasm in state and local elections held during the age of Trump. And in Wisconsin specifically, its a rare victory for a Democratic Party thats been beaten again and again in recent years. (The race was technically nonpartisan, but Dallet was the Democrat-backed candidate, and Screnock the conservative-backed one.)
However, the court will remain in conservative hands for the near future. The next conservative-held seat wont be up for election until 2020, and before that, liberals will have to defend one of their own seats next year.
Once elected, Wisconsin Supreme Court justices serve out 10-year terms. However, if a seat should become vacant in the middle of a term, the governor can appoint a replacement justice. A new election is then scheduled for that seat in the first year when theres no other supreme court election on the ballot (that is, two seats cant go up for election in the same year). Tuesdays election is for an open seat held by a conservative justice who chose to retire.

I was surprised, I voted today. We had crap weather and thought it would keep the libtards home. Usually does.
The rinos were and are not in control anyway. Theyre just paid apparatchiks to sorozNazi and other puppetmeisters So giving up control is a small sacrifice for them if they can stall off the swamp draining ( which really would remove them from their funding teat by taking them out of washDC )
Conservatives still control the SC and have a chance to win another seat in 2018.
But we will win the seat back in 2020.
#10. Easy. The Marxists and their liberal allies control the major cites and all the minority voters, legal or otherwise.
I think many Trump voters have been turned off by observing his actions. His on again, off again, change my mind again style may be effective negotiating tactics (I read Art of the Deal 30 years ago), but must be very confusing to all the worried lower income/education people who voted for him.
Absolutely.
Trump just needs to stick to what he said during the campaign. Build the wall and lock her up. Accomplishing that would bring out the deplorable vote in waves.
With all the voter fraud that’s been turning up, I would be rechecking votes. Especially if they are using computer voting machines. I watched this interview Sarah Westall did with Laura Pressley who has a “Landmark Voting Fraud Case to Change U.S. Elections” going on. Ms. Pressley is in Texas and with all information leading into her election showing she had a clear win she was surprisingly defeated by a 24 year old upstart with no experience. Sound familiar? My area still uses paper ballets (thankfully) but her district uses computer voting machines. I’ll post the interview link if anyone is interested.
our fellow Americans for the most part an apathetic selfish group...get out and vote?...too much bother...
if the gop wanted to win, they would...the elites are in cahoots with the rat elites and working hard to continue the govt/corporate America cabal that screws all of us except the govt workers....
It just take one recusal in one case to tie the court, making the lower court ruling stand. The tactic of bringing a case that forces one judge to recuse is not an uncommon Liberal move.
This liberal victory is the precursor to ending Act 10, Voter ID, Right to work and many more conservative victories under Walker.
Act 10will likely be the first to be challenged - a win will reinstate Teachers Unions as the arbiter of property tax rates which having been drastically lowered will then be raised to pay the huge salaries the Union bosses were accustomed to in the past.
Since liberals are anti-business in Wisconsin, the Foxconn plant win will be challenged and, if they can, canceled. Wisconsin will begin to return to high unemployment and high taxes, becoming Illinois with California values.
Dallet has 107,000 vs. Screnocks 25,000 votes.

That’s about the ratio of libs to conservs in dane county
Its vote fraud and control of media.
Liberals are less than 24% of the population they win one-of elections where they can bring their entire national machine to use on one race. Most conservatives never know there is an election going on because the media hides it.
These none voting conservatives might want to remember that their same stay home attitude gave us Obama twice!
I have a few reasons to explain the loss.....
1.) Major snow storm - Storm was brutal in Northern Wisconsin. That is where most of Trump’s support came from. If I am correct, dems tend to vote more absentee.
2.) Advertising (or lack of) - I don’t recall seeing any ads for Screnock. For Dallet there were several both for and against. As the saying goes “No such thing as bad publicity”.
3.) Nobody cares - I cannot believe the number of people who didn’t know or care there was an election.
If the state keeps voting like this, they sure do.
The Soros team got a Democrat msjority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and successfully changed the congressional districts to favor Democrats.
shouldnt be a surprise. The Never Trumpers have worked over time to suppress GOP voter enthusiasm.””
The leftist trolls and liberfarians even on this site, have also done their job by equating the rat party with republicans.
