China's military leadership has pledged its support to Russia as tensions between Moscow and the West further deteriorate into diplomatic isolation, economic sanctions and dueling defense drills.
In his first visit to Russia, newly appointed Chinese Defense Minister Wei Feng attended the seventh Moscow International Security Conference accompanied by a delegation of other high-level military officials. Emphasizing that his trip was coordinated directly with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Wei said that he had two major messages for Russia at a time when both nations were attempting to modernize their armed forces and strengthen their hands in global affairs in spite of U.S. fears.

On the surface you are correct. But it has been every Tsars dream since at least Peter the Great to control the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles. Russians have long memories.
PC has had a close association with the Chinese with respect to the Clintons (think Bernie Schwartz' Loral (fined $20m for sharing secrets with the Chinese), Hughes Electronics, neutron bomb secrets, the Cox Report, Gore, Buddhist Monks, etc.) and Obama. Bob Bauer of Perkins Coie was the Chief WH Counsel under Obama and Barry later appointed Bauer to lead a CIA panel, so the CIA-China connection is direct and clear there. PC's Judith Corley has acted as Barry's personal attorney, bringing his Hawaii Department of Health-certified (illegally, via its then-Director, Loretta Fuddy, who is falsely claimed to have died 12/11/13) Long Form Birth Certificate from Honolulu to Washington, DC.
China's special interest in North Korea would tempt one to think the CIA, including via Bauer and PC, would be opportunistically positioned to keep the Chinese thinking positively about the US. But as with so many things under Obama, perhaps that was botched, too.
However, one really has to consider the masters of the Hegelian Dialect (and biblical eschatology) in this circumstance--that is, the Jesuits. Our Shadow Government/Senior Executive Service crew would be closely managing the China-US-Russian-Vatican relationships to achieve their NWO ends, which "T/trumps" everything.
