LOL, some of the most colorful and creative strings of shouted oaths ever to issue forth from my mouth are when I have smashed my thumb twice in a row...my nephews have told me that they learned all they needed to know about fine and fancy cussing from me in those situations...:)
I didnt realize it was that good until i washed the grease off. I was drifting a tiny pin into a brake shoe for my truck.
Most of that jobs oathage was derived from trying to get the emergency brake cable back into the slot on the lever that forces the rearward shoe on to the drum on activation. It was indicated you could do it alone “ but its easier with 2”. Well, you can do it alone if your from Asgard AND have an extra hand. Theres about an 8 inch spring you have to extrude the cable from.
After a great gnashing of teeth though, brilliance settled upon me. I remembered i had some adjustable small engine valve spring compressors and a pair if those worked like they were designed as the perfect tool for it!!
I was STOKED with that discovery, it was one of those “ walk on air” after you figure it out type shop discoveries :-)
