I love the original Schlitterbahn, but these guys have a price to pay.
The Old Schlitterbahn was the greatest family friendly place ever.

What could go wrong?

Reporters are dumb. This thing is much, much higher than that.

Did that Kansas prosecutor even go to law school?
Of course if it had been the son of some peasant rather than an elected official, it probably wouldn’t have gone beyond a civil suit for negligence, if that.
To: Hojczyk
How can these guys who designed this slide be charged with Murder? At most they could be charged with Manslaughter because it was an accidental death.
This should be tried in civil court. Not a criminal court.
Seems that the Prosecutor is placating a politician instead of doing his duty impartially.

The guy was returning to the U.S. to turn himself in. Arresting him at the airport was uncalled for and grandstanding.

Murder is absurd although if it were my child, it would be murder.

"claiming it met all of the required American Society for Testing and Materials standards for use."
Using the right material does not correct a bad design. Sorry, but they will need a better defense then that.

Wait a minute...
With Hillary, it was - well, we cant prove INTENT...
Why is THIS guy being charged with murder???
To: Hojczyk
Sounds like gross negligence, not murder 2.
And I don’t believe either of the 3 will be convicted of criminal charges.
But I DO believe this state senator holds a lot of influence over the DA that convened the grand jury and selectively fed them evidence and points of law.
Because only by that method would a grand jury indict on these trumped up charges.

Stupid political over-charging. I hope he gets a not-gulity verdict for that alone.
As if the designer wanted to kill children. Pfffft.

What disturbs about this case is unqualified people designing it, and then deliberately hiding a record of 13+ injuries the first six months of operation and refusing to do anything about it. Makes you wonder about all these parks.
