Two things, then it’s time to put this to rest.
First, please reread earlier posts - I’ve already addressed and/or clarified some of the things you have called into question.
Second, a ‘right’ culture, as you put it, would not have strayed so far away from the letter and spirit of our Constitution, and therefore would not have allowed our elected representatives to become this irresponsible.
In my view the single most damning thing to this country is the anti-American, Godless, communist indoctrination in our public schools and universities. As I said - THIS is why we have so many useful idiots out there! A ‘right’ culture would not have allowed this cancer to take hold and spread.
I could go on, but hopefully you catch my drift, namely, that the out of control spending problems we’re discussing reflects a cultural, or spiritual, problem. The fiscal atrocities are only a symptom.
The Constitution, a limiting document by design, is already in place to prevent the kind of out of control government we see today. As John Adams said: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
Is this not why our ‘public servants’ become instead ‘little tyrants’, bent on coercion and drunk on power?
That is the way I see it. Others differ I know. Some even deny we have a fiscal problem at all, believe it or not.
Better get back to work - the boss is watching!
I am the Boss!
And whatever!
