Does posse comitatus restrict military use against foreign invaders? Wasn’t posse comitatus only to prevent use against US citizens?
You may be right it may be much too late. I can just hear the howls now if Trump does this.
Most times I feel like a stranger in my own country as I hear so many languages except English all around me.
bump
Mexico disbanded the caravan.
1) in jail
2) deported back to where they came from
3) still on the way in smaller groups.
Thank you.....
Use this as an excuse to take over the Mexican govt. Manifest destiny.
Absolutely unneeded in light of Article 4, Section 4 — The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.
Though, for the second part it might be relevant:
You can't do that!
If the previous Congressional and Presidential administrations had truly and faithfully upheld the law, this would be utterly unnecessary!and leave it at that.
Already reported that they continued on in smaller groups.
By the end of the day, I would guess.
I did:
except in cases and under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or Act of Congress
Next, consider the NDAAs and all the other such authorizations.
U got me by a mile.
Excellent material. Thanks for sharing it with me.
I pray that President Trump is successful in implementing whatever legal authority at his disposal to secure our homeland.
We must do everything necessary to secure our sovereignty.
I like the cut of your jib.
“Unless it is used in Waco to fry a bunch of women and children.”
If memory serves, there were men in there too. Or don’t they count?
The judge (will have) made his ruling. Now let him enforce it.
I bet it is 30 million plus.
Nope.
Even if it were purported to, the Constitution mandates protection of the States from invasion.
Wasn’t posse comitatus only to prevent use against US citizens?
Actually, not really.
There's a huge exception right at the beginning for (a) anything in the Constitution, and (b) an act of Congress.
scuttlebutt is Laz Mataz might be Trump...
I think this will actually exacerbate issues in CA. Illegals may flee to CA and other sanctuary locales.
They know getting booted out of the US may end up being a one way trip from this point forward.

As easy as it is, and as much fun as it is to poke fun at the Anti-U.S. nutbar's running CA...this is not a CA only issue by a long shot.
This is happening all over the country. They are not flying in from their home countries. They are not sailing in via ports on the east or west coast's.
The vast majority arrive via the southern border (including FL & TX).
The insane CA politics directly affect every single state in the union. CA is about as solid blue as can be and already a "sanctuary" state. For years, this has been a push into all of the other states. There are no border controls between our states.
This is a national issue that must be stopped by the federal government.
