According to restaurant consultancy firm Technomic, which shared its findings with Buzzfeed News, Chick-fil-A is poised to become the third-largest fast-food chain in the nation by 2020 in terms of sales, trailing behind only McDonalds and Starbucks.
The chicken chain was ranked eighth in a 2017 report from QSR magazine, behind McDonalds, Starbucks, Subway, Wendys, Burger King, Taco Bell and Dunkin Donuts.
The trajectory were on would support that, a Chick-fil-A spokesman told Buzzfeed News in response to Technomics findings.

We have an In-N-Out down here in Killeen, just outside of Fort Hood. We're about two-and-a-half hours south of Dallas/Ft Worth.
I have to agree with fwdude (post 31). I have been to In-N-Out one time and was exceedingly not impressed ...
their trucking distance is about a 350 mile radius from the central facility ...
Yeah, and Burger King will sell you a coffee, but that doesn’t make them a cafe.
Starbucks isn’t fast food.
True story: in Broward county Florida there is a Chick-Fil-A and a McDonald’s RIGHT NEXT to each other. On any given day, you can see CFA backed up with cars. McDonald’s parking lot? EMPTY.

I went to Chick-fil-A in NW Albuquerque yesterday around 1:30 PM. The line was longer than I can remember for non-peak times (usually, by 1 PM, the lines die down). I didn’t time it, but a McD’s with the same size line would have taken twice the time. CfA is good, fast, accurate, and friendly. Every time.
I was watching a bootlegged copy of Demolition Man one time, and the Taco Bell references were all changed to "Pizza Hut". Apparently, the version my acquaintance had bootlegged was the European version, where they didn't know what a Taco Bell was, but did know Pizza.
Completely threw me.
No dollar menu but they do gave things onder a buck.
INO is very similar to Freddy’s, which is already in Colorado.
“Ours is right across the street from...”
Ours, and by that I mean the state of Montana, is a seven hour drive from my home.
We have one in Kalispell...that’s it.
Yep, our daughter is on a sports team at MSU and the first place they stopped when they played Utah State was Chick-Fil-A. The kids (& everyone else) all want one in Bozeman
I didn't think the fries were very good, and fries are half of the menu. They seem to only cook the fries once. French fries are traditionally fried at a low temp, allowed to cool, and then re-fried at a high temperature.
The frozen fries used in other fast food places have already been cooked the 1st time before they were frozen.
NICE!
Thanks for sharing - I live in the Bozone.
Wife’s a RE Broker (and a property manager) if you need anything - aside from a good chicken sandwich!
When they crunch the numbers CFA is clearly number one......dont forget they are closed on Sundays.

Then Rham issued a statement about how to represent "Chicago Values." "It's easy to do business in Chicago
when you know 'the rules.' Chick-Fil-A can open in our town as long as it adopts 'Chicago Values.' "
(1) weekly cash pay off to the district alderman;
(2) hire six of the alderman's friends who work only random days of the month,
(3) BIG AL from the Mayor's office picks up all cash in brown paper bags at CFA's back door,
(4) Chick Fil A staff trained by Chicago PD to shoot 10-12 customers per month,
(5) Any CFA customers actually killed must be registered to vote as Democrats at the autopsies,
(6) $100,00 campaign contribution to Obama,
(7) free food to Jesse Jackson, Jr, incarcerated b/c he screwed up buying Obama's Senate seat.
(8) free food to former governor Blagovich, incarcerated b/c he auctioned off Obama's Senate seat.
In ‘N Out is still regional. When my son flies home from college in Colorado here to California, we must proceed directly to In ‘N Out so he can get his fix.
Subway has many more locations than any of those.
Can’t say I’ve ever walked out of CFA hungrier than when I went in - and I go probably 50 times a year (usually for a salad, but sometimes a sandwich). Stay full till dinner.
