According to a new Monmouth University poll, 77 percent of Americans believe that traditional TV and print news outlets report "fake news."
31 percent said outlets report fake news "regularly," while 46 percent said they do so "occasionally."

I don’t see the poll details, but seems likely “more” people trust CNN, FOX and MSNBC than trust Trump because they aggregated the results for trusting each station, which would then lump liberals and conservatives together.

When they say “Americans”, instead of “voters”, that means they polled a lot of non-citizens, non-voters.
I am sure his approval rating is much higher among actual voters.
