I heard a rumor that the Kennedy family once asked the Dead Kennedys to change their name. The Dead Kennedys suggested "Ted's Next" as the new name.

Like I said, just a rumor, I have no idea if this actually happened. Maybe I should check Wikipedia and Snopes. (snort)
