The “die hard feminists” aren’t looking for men...
I laughed when I read your post.
I work in a predominately female profession. Many of the supervisors and managers I’ve mentored over the years are hard core feminists.
One in particular had a huge melt down when Trump won. And since she has been all about “the resistance.” She is also going through a divorce. Which is too bad.
She likes to try and shock me with her post divorce dating stories. I’ve heard it all before. Not much shocks me. I could tell her how all of this works out...but she wouldn’t listen.
Every few weeks we chat and she starts in the with the poor me’s. “Where are all of the good men. Everyone I meet is a jerk. I am going to be alone for the rest of my life.”
I ask if she has met anyone outside of an online app? Or maybe going back to church. Or maybe getting a hobby. Do something where you can find the good guys out there—because they are out there.
Then she goes all feminist on me. They should pretty much flock to her because she has a good job with a six figure salary. She has the power.
I just shake my head. Once in a while I suggest she visits an adult book store...they have the tools for the only job she wants a man to fulfill.
Thankfully, we talk work more than her personal life.
