During Sundays Reliable Sources on CNN, host Brian Stelter weighed in on the advertiser boycott initiated by Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg on Fox News Channels Laura Ingraham, calling the uptick in the boycotts dangerous.
Are ad boycotts the right answer here? Stelter asked. Im personally pretty wary of this.

He's the guy who got 14 sponsors to pull their ads from her show.
And that’s the problem.
No he didn’t.
His puppet masters in the extreme left wing pressure groups who are using him as a sock puppet did it. They had their PR firm fire up the computer bots to generate a fake email bombardment.
It time the Right create the same sort of PR machine to destroy these extremist Leftists like Media Matter, Organizing for America etc. Instead we don’t even engage them.
I noticed that too.
I wonder the accounts actually moved to a more general category. Could be a lot of over wrought theater going on here.
Yes it is dangerous. Dangerous to the profits and financial stability of those companies supportive of the filthy mouthed anti-Trump Hogg. Those companies deserve whatever blowback their action (withdrawing from the Ingraham show) for political reasons befalls them. The polling news on Drudge today shows Trump with 50% popularity. That means potentially a LOT of voters and consumers disagree with corporate leftism. They went that way, now they can deal with the blowback.
To name a few: Katie Hopkins, Michele Malkin, Pam Geller, Brittany Pettibone, Jeanine Pirro, Dana Loesch, Tammy Bruce. I’ve only had one cup of coffee so when I wake up, I’ll think of more.
Jemele Hill, Just shut up
Thanks for that link...I was beginning to think the only conservative response was to blame Ingrahm for apologizing to Hogg in the spirit of Easter and then taking her planned break.
What you did is react. You are on defense. Ive been doing the same thing.
We would be better off asking sponsors to drop one of the mouthpieces on the left. Turn the tables and go on offense when one of them says something offensive. Pick one and destroy him. Just like they do.
Have you considered calling some of them anyway and give them a piece of your mind...or calling one of the advertisers who didn't cut and run to show support?
This is more about the hurt feelings of a 17yo, David Hogg is a proxy for every gun grabber in the country.
This is extremely dangerous to our democracy
He's admitted he wasn't even there but got there as fast as he could.
Leftists pressure groups use computer bots programs to generate thousands of fake emails. Politician have gotten wise and know how to screen out these but Corp America still is falling for this garbage.
it time for the Right to stop playing with kid gloves and destroy these Leftist clown shows at their own game.
YES! If "media matters" and the leftists can use bots to "generate thousands of fake emails," why can't we do it? Turnabout is fair play.
In a rare moment of clarity, liberal mouth breather realized that boycotts can work against them too.
Let me see if I have you right, you think that only the left does advertiser boycotts? If so, you lead a very sheltered life if you don't believe the right also engages in boycotts, ever hear of Disney, JCP, Target, NFL, Starbucks, Keurig, Nordstrom, Kellog, to name a few, remember The Dixie Chicks?
The right boycotts just as much as the left, but the left uses bogus email, fax and letter campaigns to bolster their boycotts and for some reason advertisers seem to fear the left more.
“YES! If “media matters” and the leftists can use bots to “generate thousands of fake emails,” why can’t we do it? Turnabout is fair play.”
I’ve been saying that for quite some time.

I am not aware that I have ever purchased products from any of these advertisers.
I am not even a cable TV watcher, let alone Ingraham's program.
And I am not an activist.
What I am is a retired, 70 year old, hard-working, conservative cattle rancher who puts in long hours and hard days.
I'm not the slightest bit interested in calling companies I don't know, about advertising on a TV program I don't watch, to tell them they're a bunch of lily-livered, yellow-bellied, p*ssy hat-wearing, wimpy, spineless corporate wienies.
Maybe you can pass on my critique of their abilities as corporate leaders for me, when you call them yourself. I give you my permission to quote me word-for-word. Thanks.
Look, I hate to deflate your sails here, but I've been there done that in my life. Let the young folks do the protesting.
