If it were up to me homos would not only be precluded form aver possessing a child, they’d be barred from owning pets also.

You have a point there. Some years ago we were between houses and moved into an upscale apartment complex that was brand new and permitted dogs of all sizes. There was a homo couple that had a young border collie and they brought the dog out with the rest of us who would let our dogs off the leash for play time in one of the generous green spaces. That border collie would frequently try to mount on of the other male dogs from behind. No doubt mimicing its owners. I imagine any young children might be predisposed to do same.
