This caravan of illegals is enough to get emergency action done.
If these people think they will just overrun the border and have a grand ole time, they will soon discover their action will speed up enforcement.
President Trump will act on this.
I see the caravan as another stunt like the flotilla to Gaza a few years ago.
It’s a double play, either the government caves and looks bad for betraying its base, or they enforce the law and the media demonizes it after hyping it up for a month.
Came across this video yesterday. Thousands of ‘migrants’ storming the border barriers of Morocco. The border guards beat them off with clubs. Only two of a thousand attempted fence jumpers get through.

Would this be a reason the Founders gave the citizens a well regulated militia in the Constitution? To protect our borders from an invasion of criminals?
Wasn’t there some group called, “Oathkeepers”? Was/is it “a thing”?

He had better. With all the advance warning of this latest surge from Honduras, and with the Mexican government taking no action to stop them, they are, in effect, giving the finger to America.
Ideally, though it will never happen, President Trump should tell the Mexicans to stop the invaders 50 miles south of the border and if they don't, he will send U.S. troops those 50 miles into Mexico to stop them.
Unless there are Democrat judges somewhere in the world. Then, not so much.
