Minutes after wishing Americans a Happy Easter, President Trump revealed a major shift in his strategy for pursuing an immigration deal with Democrats, and it’s one that Trump-supporters-turned-critics like Anne Coulter may finally approve.
In a tweet, Trump – who has been crucified so to speak by the conservative media for caving in and failing to obtain border wall funding – complained that US border agents aren’t allowed to do their jobs properly because of “ridiculous liberal (Democratic) laws” like “catch and release”. And with more “dangerous caravans coming” to the US border, “Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!”
As previously reported, over 1,500 Central Americans are on a crusade across Mexico in the hopes of being granted asylum at the U.S. border. Setting out six days ago and marching under the slogan “Migrantes en la lucha” (“Migrants in the Fight”) during holy week, the caravan comprised mostly of Hondurans was organized roughly a month ago by the mysterious group Pueblo Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders).
Trump also accused Mexico of doing “nothing” to stop people from flowing in through the Southern border, saying “they must stop the big drug and people flows” or he will “end their cash cow, NAFTA.”
What Trump is referring to is that, as noted yesterday, despite a majority of the Honduran migrants being in Mexico illegally, the caravan has not been stopped on its journey by local authorities, and people from Mexican towns along the way have been helping the refugees.
He also lashed out at the wave of undocumented immigrants “trying to take advantage of DACA.”

Mr. President....you can, and should order 50,000 troops to the border. Orders are shoot to kill anyone who approaches outside of a manned border station.
Stop them at the border. Use the military if you have to. Tell mexico to go pound sand.
President Trump doesn’t need their permission to do any of this. This is the responsibility of the executive branch to protect the borders. Not congress, not the courts. They can whine, cry, piss, moan, and file all the lawsuits and injunctions that they want, but they can’t do shit about it.
This is getting completely out of hand. The President neexs to pick a sanctuary state, and start arresting some public officials for federal offenses, an throw the book at them.
Something that would make the border hot for a half-life of, say, 500 years.

If these invaders are allowed in, it will be an epic disaster on many fronts.
We may very well find out if the SecDef will balk when President Trump orders Federal troops to protect our southern border from invasion.
So what is Trump going to do about this caravan? If he pets these people step one foot inside the US then I give up. He needs to put some national guard down there pronto!

Exactly. However, this is an invasion and think deploying our Army and Marines to the border will be just fine...in addition to overflying jets at low levels scaring the poop out of them should help.

The marchers are Mexico{s problem. Turn them back and shoot the runners who run over the border northward.

Sometimes Trump says things like he doesn’t even realize that he is President. This is one of those times. Stop telegraphing your innner thoughts and concerns to the world and just take care of it.

Better meet and stop them at the border now rather than having to kick the invaders over the new wall later. “NO MORE DACA” Trump says, then stop them now.

Had a high school friend who fought under Patton. He was one of those who would talk. Anyway, he told of how they shot to hell every thing that moved and if they didnt, the XIX air force did. Then, they started to run out of gas and wished to hell they didnt shoot those trains all up. They managed to get a couple engines going but by then a lot of the gas went to Montgomery holding up the 3RD Army. He swore that they could have been in Berlin by Christmas if they hadnt done that.

Trump is boxed in right now. He can’t afford a major GOP Civil War right before the midterms. After that, all bets are off in my opinion.
