The average female in the Marines weighs 130lbs. With pretty much standard load out, I carried that in gear, ammo, and water through house to house fighting - while sprinting down roads, up and down stairs, and all the while under heavy fire. When someone was wounded, we had to pick up the munitions he was carrying -
and him. We have guys clocking in at over 3 bills with kit......sorry Jane, but you're lucky to keep up - let alone drag someone off a rooftop under fire while already carrying more than 100% of your body weight.
Guns up.
The bone density of female combat soldiers is lower than that of men, and that is why they suffer more injuries, said the officer. The fat percentage in women is 70% to 100% greater than mens and that is why they are slower than them, and consume more energy during activity. At the same time, their muscle density is 33% less than the mens and their ability to carry weights is lower.
