Europe tried that with Hitler and it didn’t work, did it?
The West tried it with Stalin and that didn’t work either.
Has anything worked with No. Korea?
Red China is still one big prison. Christians are being jailed and killed there for just being Christians. We can’t forget about them. The communists don’t care what we think until we put the hammer down hard on them to get their attention.
Neville Chamberlain died a long time ago but his refusal to face the truth sent millions of innocent people to their deaths, including Americans.
We can’t make that “blind” mistake again. KNOW YOUR ENEMY! AND NEGOTIATE WHEN YOU CAN, FROM A POSITION OF SUPERIOR STRENGTH!
China is a leaky prison; most of its prisoners are that way out of acquiescence.
The only thing that could pull Russia out of spiritual mud would be its own Christian revival. Denominations matter not here. Christ could move in the Orthodox as easily as in Catholic or Protestant environs. Will Putin ever take Christ seriously? I don’t know.
For more perspective...
MadMax, you bring up North Korea and China...the modern incantations of which we owe directly to Soviet Russia.
Prior to Stalin installing the Kim Il Sung regime (not to mention his purge of thousands of ethnic Koreans from mainland Russia) — North Korea was a haven for American missionaries. Including Billy Graham’s family. It was dubbed “the Jerusalem of the East.” Now look at it. A Gulag ridden hell hole. And Russia still maintains friendly ties with it.
North Korean slaves on loan from Kim Jong Un helped build the World Cup stadiums among other things.
CHINA: Indeed the USSR most certainly had something to do with Mao Zedong, the millions he murdered, and the current crop of unrepentant leadership there now.
Need we go into Soviet Russia’s contributions to helping forge the modern American Left, the modern abortion movement, its legacy of anti-Zionist alliances with Muslims, etc...etc...
And we think this legacy is too far in the past to acknowledge?
Look at how easily cozied up Putin gets with the likes of Iran...
My point exactly. You are not understanding my position, couldn’t be more off base. But it gave you a chance to exercise so all is not lost.
