No,I worded my post poorly.Whitey's in Federal prison for having killed God knows how many...and other stuff.His kid brother Billy is collecting a Massachusetts state pension of $250K/yr when he,too,should be in prison but has somehow avoided it.

If,by chance,you're curious read a book called "The Brothers Bulger" by Boston talk show host and columnist Howie Carr.Great stuff....which includes the tale of a Boston FBI agent who basically joined Whitey's crew and wound up doing 40 years for murder.

Also,the film "Black Mass" is about the Bulgers...but it whitewashes Billy...probably in order to avoid a libel lawsuit.
