Pensions will be the destruction of this Country. Every State should bite the bullet, pay off the liabilities from a one time tax increase, and change to a 401K style pension. ENOUGH. It’s so 1950.
Essentially the idiot GOP passed a bill that does little to fix the pension the Democrats, especially the AG Breashear’s daddy as governor stole and spent. They are taking a crap load of heat for doing nothing. If you’re going to receive a sh@t storm of political abuse at least you should have something right to show for it.
The moronic teachers are acting like it’s the end of humanity because the bill they did pass effects no retired teachers or 99% of those in the system currently, only new hires who are not guaranteed a public pension and gasp, might have to rely on a 401 retirement system, oh the horror.
