You should provide fake data to your credit card and banks accounts.
When the ask for your mothers name, make something up.
When they ask where you went to high school, also make something up.
If they ask where you met your spouse, tell them Fiji or Ceylon, whatever.
Write it down for when they ask in 6 months or you won’t remember it, but it does make breaking into your account hard for anyone who isn’t you.
I always use fake data. Use your favorite cartoon characters names or zoo animals for family members names. My mom’s maiden name is Giraffe. Always liked giraffes.My grade school was in Thailand, and my high school in Germany. My Address is down the street from where the Obama’s vacation in Hawaii. Nice neighborhood, /sarcasm. My data is worth a lot /more sarcasm.
What’s interesting is when you have to call a customer service person for your credit card and they swear they aren’t able to see your password or personal info but after a few minutes they always slip up and tell you the first letter of your password or your dog’s name. Of course they see everything on you.
