I don’t believe the Pope was misquoted or taken out of context. Pope Francis does not believe in anything remotely resembling orthodox Catholicism or Christianity and he has been undermining the faith it since he became Pope. This time, it blew up in his face, so he lied. Yes, he LIED. Furthermore, I suspect everyone who has been following Frankie’s papacy closely knows that he lied. (This journalist probably will fall on his sword for Frankie, for the sake of continued access to him.)

That’s the problem. What are you, a layperson, doing with access to the Bible? You must wait for an explanation with new revelations and amplification from a council or pope to know what is said in the bible. /s
