I also do not believe in the doctrine of Hell. Hell is not a word mentioned in the bible. I could go into the exegesis on Scripture and Greek and Hebrew words used in scripture, but it would bore people to death. If you go from the supposition that God is a an angry, spiteful, perfectionist and that your default pre-destination is that fictional Hell then the doctrine makes sense. If Jesus said he has come to save all men, did He add an asterisk to that? He did not. The wage of sin is death, not eternal torment in a fiery place. Jesus came not to save from us Hell but to reconcile us with a loving God. One perspective is still coming from a Old Testament worldview.
Up to the 4th century, there really was no concept of eternal damnation for man to Hell in the Church. This is a doctrine of Demons and puts people on an exhausting path of works and fretting about their Salvation. Is God about that? Did Jesus say .."It is finished", or did he say "It's finished unless you have no doubt in me, do works, belief in Hell"? This doctrine comes form a Man made idea of Man's Justice on earth. God's fire is used to purify, not to punish. Is God's love conditional or finite? I don't think we could say it is. Hell as a place for Man , of eternal punishment is not biblical, no matter how you extract passages out of context or understanding to buttress your argument.
One thing those who believe in the Hell doctrine I ask the question..Why would you want that to be true? I asked myself that question and the answers flushed out my hate, anger and thirst for vengeance, never about love and God. Bad fruit brothers, bad fruit on that Hell Doctrine tree.

It’s Purgatory and Limbo which don’t exist. Purgatory as a concept has Biblical support. Limbo is more nebulous but it and purgatory have some parallels in scripture.
