No, they will go with the group that swings the biggest stick. And with Trump’s own administration undermining him it’s hard to see how that will be FedGov in the short term. There’s no evidence Sleepy Sessions is willing to engage CA any other place than court, unfortunately.

Short term maybe...but long term..i dont see it...i think the cal dems are trying to rattle chain of trump...but i believe that sessions and trump are looking for rock solid long term responses...and will slowly continue to ratchet up the pressure...i.e..suppose becerra locks up some deputies..but sanctuary law is deemed unconstutional...could state of calif be dinged for unlawful imprisonment?..could you imagine the size of the judgement? Despite my opinions...we will see how it all shakes out eventually and it wont end after that either.
