I personally think the mentally ill and convicted felons have a right to defend themselves. The criminals will be.
I am reminded of a man who had his mint collection of firearms confiscated for some reason. It took two years of legal wrangling to get them back from the police.
When they were returned to him they were so rusted up they were unusable.
Gov. Mallory (D-Conn) should be the first person “involuntarily held” (forever) under this law since he makes “batshit crazy” seem like a kid sugar high.
He is crazy as Charles Manson and just as dangerous.
He sure “conned” Connecticut, a once sane state.
This appears to be a mighty elastic standard. Any judge or policeman can read anything into it.
Everyone watches the right hand which cascades colored silks and flapping doves. No one notices the right hand which is getting real things done.
Then how about "seizure of guns from people who publicly threaten to hurt themselves or others".
Let me be the first to apologize - I'm sorry you're a twit.
Nothing good has happened in Connecticut since Lowell Weicker imposed an income tax.
That is a concrete act or threat and should be actionable but the “hurt” must be defined particularly. Psychological “hurt” and “microaggressions” would otherwise creep in.
