Guess what, I heard NPR blaming the US, in their snobbish voice, about two days ago.

So the U.S. Government media is also blaming the U.S.
To be expected, I suppose. Probably claim the U.S. did not give Venezuela enough stuff, or allowed oil companies in the U.S. to become too productive, or some such.

It is always easy to come up with hypothetical excuses.

This is where Trump is a Huge asset! I have a soft spot for the people of Venezuela. The animals have been long ago consumed by the starving population. Zoo too.
