Arpaio says he will resume attacking Obama's birth certificate if elected

Former Arizona sheriff and current GOP candidate Joe Arpaio says that he will resume his controversial campaign challenging the legality of former President Obama's birth certificate, deemed a racist campaign by many, if he is elected to the Senate.

In remarks first reported by Right Wing Watch, Arpaio told a roomful of supporters in Arizona that he has remained silent about his accusations pertaining to Obama's birthplace while campaigning, but plans to resume his attacks if elected.

"I don't talk about it anymore, until I become a U.S. senator. ... So I'm kind of dropping that right now," Arpaio told the Western Conservative Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.

"But I'm going to tell you something," Arpaio continued, "100 percent we proved that's a fake document. One hundred."

Arpaio is running as a supporter of President Trump in the Arizona Senate race to replace retiring Sen. Jeff Flake (R). He faces two other GOP candidates in an August primary election, where he currently trails GOP Rep. Martha McSally (Ariz.).

There, he will have a voice, a platform and the power to expose Obama.

It is a little shocking the number of posts from people who have bought into the liberal BS, hook line and sinker. Obama may not be president anymore but he is still the de facto leader of a huge wing of the Democrat party. Obama is still a huge problem... he is hardly ancient history. The “birth certificates” that he used for this purpose were complete frauds. I am glad that someone still has the stomach to shove this back in the left’s face. It is one of the worst examples of the lefts complete disregard for truth and honesty.

And Sheriff Joe is a far more capable candidate than Judge Moore. He has been under relentless attack for decades but he remains a force to be reckoned with. He has weathered the BS for longer than most can remember.

The Left probably spent at least 100 Million in dark money to take down Judge Roy Moore. They will do the same no matter who wins the primary in Arizona. But Judge Roy Moore was not a "bad" candidate. He was extremely popular. They just outspent him. I would say Moore was more popular in Alabama then all three AZ primary Republican candidates put together in Arizona.

Dr. Ward would be the best candidate but whoever wins will face a gigantic multi-million dollar hate-storm from the left. I don't know if any of the three can withstand it.

Past Elections where Roy has won, he only wins it by like 2%-3% where other GOPers would've won by 20+

That will not get him elected. In fact, nothing will get him elected, all he can do is spoil Kelli Ward's chances.

He would be Roy Moore redeaux.

So they are going to make up lies about him while his Party stabs him in the back? I don't think it will happen because he is never going to be any threat to the Deep State Uni-party swamp.

Arpio is likely funded by RINOs to take votes from Ward to swing the primary to McSally.

I should not be surprised if there turns out to be some truth in this.

What is he going to accomplish with this now?

If he succeeds it will be like the last 10 years never happened.

Therefore, we will all be 10 years younger.

That's a winning issue.

He was so popular that his voters stayed home.

Not buying it

Democrats had a good turnout while our turnout was poor, our voters sat home and they did so for a reason.

Dark Money? I wonder where it comes from? What part of the Country has this kind of money to spend, and how does controlling the Senate benefit them?

How long do you think this sort of thing has been going on?

Ping to BroJoeK and "x."

>>Obama would be a native-born US citizen...

I’ve been trying to tell people this for a number of years. That doesn’t mean there aren’t legit questions about the BC produced but it isn’t relevent to his standing to run for President. He should have been defeated on many other grounds, but not eligibility.

His mom enrolled in college (no online enrollment in 1961, or 91 for that matter) and was seen at Washington state with a baby less than 2 weeks after the alleged birth date. I think the best GUESS (and that’s all it is) is that there was something nefarious about Obama’s citizenship or claimed status at some point in his life that he’s managed to cover up exceedingly well.

OR, things could be as he’s said they are and he’s simply giving an FU to anyone questioning things. People need to concede that there is a very high probability that this is the case. His mom WAS in Hawaii; she had a baby somewhere near his purported birth date; and the likelihood of the birth being in Kenya — or really any place other than Hawaii, Washington state, or Canada is virtually zero.

I’d like to see President Trump give Arpiao a federal prison to run...one dedicated to illegals awaiting deportation or long sentences

Joe “Let’s split the non-RINO vote” Arpaio needs to go home and stop doing Mitch McConnell’s work for him.

That is not true. I actually looked at Alabama's election data from 2012, and Roy Moore won his election with over a Million votes. The next down ballot Republican candidate only did slightly better than Roy Moore, and Roy Moore had the entire Alabama Judiciary endorsing his Democrat Opponent.

Roy Moore lost this last election because of the Media Smear Weapon and his own party deliberately stabbing him in the back, especially prominent Republican office holders like Richard Shelby and Jeff Flake.

Moore would have been a real reformer, and the Deep State Establishment Swamp could not tolerate someone who threatened their money spending and debauchery.

He was so popular that his voters stayed home.

You let the entire National Media Weapon system call you a Rapist and Child molester on National Television and then have your good buddy Republican officials like Richard Shelby and Jeff Flake tell everyone to either stay home or vote for someone else, and it will have a pronounced effect on your chances of winning.

Put the blame where it belongs. On the Witch Hunt liars of the Media, and the F***ing Bastards of the Republican Stab them in the Back Traitor Party.

I absolutely disagree. The Constitutional requirement of Natural Born Citizen puts the onus upon the candidate to prove he is, not upon the rest of the nation to prove he isn't.

Election officials didn't do their job because he was black. Had he been a white guy, they wouldn't have been afraid of being called a racist because they demanded proof that the guy who told everyone he was born in "Kenya", was actually an American.
