How radical can the Democrats get if they take over the government again? What used to be an extreme position - reparations to black people for slavery - is now entering the mainstream of Democratic party thought and could become a reality once the Democrats regain power.
Reparations have been mentioned since the end of slavery, but in recent years, it has been elevated to a serious issue by liberal Democrats. Rep. Maxine "Mad Max" Waters, appears to want to make it a cornerstone of a run for the presidency in 2020.
WATERS: “He’s a bully — he has a bully mentality. We need someone in the presidency who not only has good sense but understands diplomacy and understands what we need to do to have peace in this world so we can all look forward to the possibility that we’re someday going to have a world that’s about peace and justice and respect for individual liberty.”

Probably their highest intellectual achievement has been to utter the word "Duh". When she dies, they will find some other vicious racist who says the right things ("You are not responsible for your own poverty, the white man is") and elect them until they die, etc.

How far back in history should we go? Passover approaches, and reminds me that my ancestors were enslaved by Africans for centuries. A lien should be placed on any and all reparations they receive, and forwarded to my folk.

1) Any living person who was held in slavery while slavery was the law of the land shall receive a one-time payment of $5.0 Million and shall be exempted from paying income tax for the rest of his/her life.
2) Any living person who is the biological offspring (son or daughter) of a person who was held in slavery while slavery was the law of the land shall receive a one time payment of $1.0 Million and shall be exempted from paying income tax for the rest of his/her life.

Every person who owns or has owned a slave has to pay reparations to any person who was or is a slave.
