McCain hasn’t said anything sane since Trump dissed him during the primaries. McCain has been acting like this for far longer. I remember that after he lost the primary to Bush, he was distinctly ungentlemanly and set out to undermine Bush every way he could. I realized then that McCain did not have a Presidential temperament.
