The last Sheriff, who took on Buncombe County to rip off the citizens.. ended up in prison in 2008. He was corrupt/illegal gambling, and I prayed he would be caught...and he was.
Medford held two men from FL over death, they had nothing to do with, without trial...violation of their 6th Amendment rights. He forced a woman to say she saw them put body in trunk of their car (neighbor); or he would take her child away. She was scared, but eventually outed him, as to why she said that!
Not surprised this guy is a snowflake, there are lots of them in Asheville. aka “Little San Francisco’, thanks to a 80s Mayor!
