More than one article surfaced during the campaign that Trump was a germophobe - I guess trying to make him look crazy - so much so that any woman he wanted to have a relationship with, he would send to his doctor for a clean bill of health.
He also wouldn’t shake hands or touch elevator buttons etc.

You are exactly right Rhino. And part of the way to do this is for the leftists who have suddenly “found religion” ... except religion as a means to drive a wedge into Trump voters who profess religion as important to them.
The problem for the left is that with the helped BJ Clinton set the standard when he lied on television with HRC at his side about his affair with Ms Flowers. BJ was not hounded out of office - not for lying about it, and not for having an affair. After all, “what consenting adults do is their own business” and “everyone lies about sex” were prominent justifications. His girlfriend Monica was more of the same.
The genie is out of the bottle, the religious-only-when-it-is-convenient left cannot get the genie back in the bottle...even after throwing Harvey W and Al Franken under the bus, and the fake distancing of themselves from the CLintons in 2018.
