It just seems unbelievable to me she would dress *openly* in military fatigues in the style of the Castros to signify solidarity with dictatorship. Her views are in line with that kind of government but if she actually dressed like that in a public forum to confirm it openly she is acting in solidarity with that kind of government that would be shocking.

BTW, my reaction was exactly the same as yours. A friend posted that on another site and I asked the same question. Then I went and googled her name and saw the images from multiple news sources for myself.

Anybody who thinks this is just a bunch of high school students expressing their own views isn't paying attention. This is the youth front of the Democratic Party, or more accurately what should now be called the National Democratic Socialist Party.
I seem to have read her Daddy is Cuban. Is that reason enough to wear that patch?
