Thank you and Diogenesis for clarifying what is going on. Have been dismayed by all the handwringing. My husband and I are in Hungary celebrating 35th wedding anniversary. As soon as locals realize we are Americans, they say “ we love Trump”. Getting on a Danube cruise later, so we will soon see and hear who doesn’t love Trump!
Cruise goes to towns in Slovakia, Austria etc, so conversations might be lively .

Hungarians are apprehensive about losing their culture, from the invasion of people looking for a new home. They are working to keep immigrants out. I visited Budapest last year.
