Do you remember when CNN's James Clapper was caught lying to the Senate Intelligence Committee in 2013 when he was still the Director of National Intelligence in response to a question about whether the NSA collected data on millions of Americans? Well, the good news for Clapper is he might be exonerated since it could be that it was not him but his "evil twin" that was the one who was doing the lying.
Clapper made the suggestion on Friday about his "evil twin" lying instead of him on CNN during an interview with Erin Burnett. Because President Donald Trump tweeted about Clapper's inconsistent testimony about his media contacts, Burnett had no choice but to ask him about it.

I watched the video, and it was obvious he was going to keep talking, but just as obvious, he is running scared.
He is as slippery as the Clinton Clan, but has no conceivable way to save himself. Clapper clearly perjured himself, so POTUS is going after him...

How can this be? Are not we the nation with liberty & justice for all? We have made a mockery of the Pledge of Allegiance.
All those pinning their hopes on the sealed indictments should take note of Clapper’s free pass. It was an open and shut case of perjury. Flynn has had to sell his house to pay his legal bills, for far less. If this sealed indictment wishful thinking were real, Clapper would have been charged before the statute of limitations ran out.

CNN has a known-and-admitted liar-before-Congress on its payroll and puts him as on-screen “talent” to tell further stories to its viewers.
CNN obviously has neither self-respect nor respect for its viewers, few though the latter be.
