THE PRESIDENTS national security adviser is meant to coordinate policy formation inside the administration, manage disagreements among agencies and tee up important decisions, while separately advising the president of his or her own views. John Bolton, whom President Trump has said will take over the position next month, is unsuited for that role. His record is that of a rigid, bombastic ideologue with a history of bullying colleagues and twisting intelligence. His advocacy of extreme policies, including preventive war against North Korea and Iran, could lead Mr. Trump and the country to catastrophe.

Sure. Just like Reagan's ‘extremism’ led the country to catastrophe, and Obama’s ‘reasoned and considered’ approach made us safer and stronger in the world..
To: EagleUSA
Nonsense. The Iraq war was great. We got all those WMDs.

For people who define “the country” as SanFrancisco, Boston, New York and Chicago, it could, indeed, be disaster.

Note that this hysteria comes against someone who is within the realm of the Council on Foreign Relations. The Post is decreeing a kind of Lysenkoism as foreign policy.

John Boltons extremism could lead the country to catastrophe Just like George Washington did.
The entire Left and a lot of GOP are like the Tories who favored British tyranny over freedom and independence.

... or it could lead to avoidance of a war. If they are afraid of us, they’ll behave. Otherwise we were going to have a war anyway. To me, he’s a “last ditch effort” to avoid a war with Korea .. same with Pompeo.
