I have a theory about the use of profanity to this degree.

When a person feels his or her life is out of control, s/he cusses a lot to feel as though s/he is in control of SOMETHING.

Yeah, he has demons flying around in that skull of his - some kind of unresolved issues going on there. The bad thing is he's using his elevated stature to take it out on the rest of us.
