Fire fighting is dangerous business. Fire gives no quarter and has no remorse. It is a testament to firefighters skill and knowledge that so few are lost each year.

A brave man has been lost, full honors shall be given. His family should be cared for.

Geez, I wonder if Michael is the brother of Scott Davidson, a firefighter who was killed on 911, who's son Pete made an appearance on SNL.

Scott did have a brother named Michael as is listed in Scott's obit.

Scott Davidson, 33, firefighter, was fierce sports competitor.
