America House Ramallah, established in June 2014, is the U.S. Consulate General’s educational and cultural center in Ramallah City.
The mission of America House is to encourage dialogue between Americans and Palestinians in order to foster mutual understanding and emphasize shared values. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Consulate General in Jerusalem, America House is a place where residents of Ramallah and West Bank can learn about U.S. history, culture, and society, through a wide selection of books, English language learning material and American magazines. It also serves as a place where people can come together and take advantage of the many resources we offer, including our library, 3D printer, wifi connection and computers. America House offers a wide variety of presentations about U.S. society and culture throughout the year, hosts regular film screenings, and offers English language classes.
Education USA: America House should be your first stop if you are thinking about studying in the United States. Come to the library and use our reference material to learn more about Educational programs available in the U.S. the acceptance/ Application process, and how to obtain financial assistance. In addition, we will host periodic sessions both via video conference and with EducationUSA educational advisors on how to apply, and enroll in a U.S. institute of higher learning.

The mission of America House is to encourage dialogue between Americans and Palestinians through promoting the English language learning, Educational USA advising, cultural programs, alumni programs and information about the United States in order to foster mutual understanding and emphasize shared values .Our facilities are sponsored by the U.S Department of State through U.S. Consulate General Jerusalem. America House is a place where Palestinians can learn about U.S history, culture and society through a wide selection of books, English language training learning material and American magazines. It also serves as a place where people can come together to view an art show or exhibition. In addition to the library, America house offers a wide of presentations about U.S. Society and culture throughout the year. Recent topics have included the U.S space program, ways to help the environment, and U.S. Foreign policy. America house hosts regular film screenings and had established an English conversation where people come together to practice their English in a relaxed setting.
