Trump will sign it and Trump is finished since he will not be able to build the wall. This bill stops it. How can he let us down and the rotten communists Republicans are worthless.
The swamp has him by the short-hairs and he knows it. He could veto it and it would be a Trump shutdown and it would remain a Trump shutdown until he signs THIS piece of legislation...because it is "bipartisan." Both "leaders" would be on ABCNBCCBSCNNMSNBCFOX saying "Look, both sides came together like the people expect us to, like the constitution requires us to do, and we came up with a budget. Both sides got something and gave something."
And for every day the government was shut down, that is the mantra...and that is PROBABLY what the swamp was hoping for. I kinda think the very last thing the swamp wanted was for him to sign it (even though they knew he would). They knew this was "an offer he couldn't refuse."
He doesn't have the political capital for that and he knows it...and you and I know it too. His poll numbers would be in the teens within a couple of weeks...and the economy would suffer...and that is his one bright spot the liberal media can't hide from folks right now.
I don't know what to say. The swamp has won. I'm a fatalist.
