Second White House tweet in a row crowing about how great this bill is for conservatism. We won’t be saved by the veto.

Trump HAS TO KNOW what this bill will do to his re-election. Why would he do it? For that and other reasons...

You know, in linear thinking, you'd be exactly right.

But we've seen Trump throw head-fakes and then, a little later, go the other way. Being Trump, he wouldn't need more of a segue than, "upon further consideration . . ." and point to some glaring oddities, such as the billion for Planned Parenthood, the huge bottom line, and the fact that there isn't enough money for the wall. If he really lined up the defects, plus staged a Reagan-style weigh-in for the printed bill on a scale, he would win over the voters easily and scare the Swamp silly.

I just wouldn't put it past him at all.
