Since this was published in February 2018 from Genova's speech in January 2018, Jeff Sessions has said publicly in a TV interview with Fox News, that he has already appointed a DOJ prosecutor to work with Horowitz and who has the authority to order grand juries and seek indictments.

This person was appointed last summer Sessions said. I don't think their name has been revealed. I believe some indictments have already been handed down and remain sealed. They will be announced after the full IG report is released.

There is good stuff going on to get these bad players in the FBI and DOJ. We're just impatient becasue Sessions is not making public announcements every other day about the progress.

I believe he is doing this, one, because it's his style as a prosecutor to begin with and, two, so he can spring the trap on as many bad guys as possible without spooking them into running for the hills and lawyering up beforehand.

This mess is going to turn out better than many people, including many on FR, expected. Sessions has been busy working below the radar doing his job, just not giving regular press conferences for our benefit.

It’s always nice to see an optimist on the forum.

Sessions does not want to go down in history as the worst most inept AG ever.

Janet Reno has that one sewed up tight.. or has for quite some time. Holder gets runner up.
