When a President wins an election you congratulate them..period..every President does it, when Obama called Putin to congratulate him no one made a fuss, in fact it wasn’t even mentioned in the Commie press, why, because of course they adored Russia then and they loved Obama..now with President Trump, you have people IN the White House who hate his guts, you have the Commie media who wishes him dead, its a lose/lose situation

I think whoever wrote that in huuuuuge letters not to congratulate Putin, knew Trump would take the bait and do the opposite.
What Trump should have done is called for a press conference and congratulated Putin on TV and then make the statement that Obama did the same to Putin and Iran leaders, Turkish leaders etc. I would have also played the video of Obama promising Medlev he can do more after he is elected. Then I would of ended the press conf and said have a good day.
