Correct spelling
I couldn't believe that I could actually understand what I was reading. Using the incredible power of the human brain, according to research at Cambridge University, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letter be in the right place. The rest can be a total, mess and you can read it without a problem. This is because the human mind does not read every letter by itself, but the word as a whole. Amazing, huh? Yeah and I always thought spelling was important! See if your friends can read this too!

When President Trump was a young man, powerful men dictated letters to secretaries who then typed out the material... and handed it back for approval. Men didn't type their own 'stuff' or bothered with 'spelling' - that was considered 'women's work'....
In 1966 the minimum wage for a secretary - a women who could type AND spell - was $1.25 an hour.
The only working men at that time who were expected to know how to 'spell' and type - were men who worked for newspapers and typed in the two finger hunt and peck style. And even those men had access to women proof readers who checked for spelling errors. It was a different time.
