“Who even has a land line today? ‘”

Me,and three of my five middle aged kids.

If any of you has a cell phone, you can move land line numbers to your cell plan.

You can get cell phones anywhere these days; used or new, very cheap.

By moving the lines to your cell plan, you'll pay about $10/line per month; you'll save at least $40 per line per month.

I understand some places you can't get cell coverage, or need a fax line, etc.

But if you're in an area where that would work, you'll save a bunch of money.

or need a fax line

There are online services that can replace your fax line. I use MyFax ($10/mo).

I’ve had a cell phone since 1994———24 years, but I still love my landline——and it’s free,a retirement benefit.

My 3 kids that have them got them when they bought their first homes-——and just kept them while raising kids-——they all have smart phones,of course,as do the kids.
