9bviously the shooter wasn’t armed with a fully automatic assault weapon death ray, or he could have leveled the whole school from a block away.
Guess it is safe to assume that this fine officer was NOT trained by the Broward County sheriffs dept...
Do not rule out the possibility that the MD AG will go after him on "unnecessary cruelty" charges...Just saying...
I don’t have a problem with the killer wannabe being shot.
My problem is building something into what it is not, whether for liberal (AAA! Another [mass] shooting! When will guns be banned!) or conservative (a [mass] killing was prevented by someone else shooting him). Mass murder is far more random and unknown and unexpected and atrocious than a targeted, which happens every day. Thus, it is more evil and easy to use as a “poster” event.
This one, we don’t know for sure - but so far it looks targeted that happened to be at school.
But shootings and stabbings happen at our local mall a few times over the years - only once was there a “mass” shooting (4 years ago). The latter worth reporting nation-wide, the others not; local news.
Where is the part that the FBI has been watching this guy?
President Trump should bring this deputy to the White House to personally congratulate him and force the media to recognize him. This just proves a lie everything the left has said since Parkland and shame on the Florida governor and Republicans for their anti 2nd amendment knee jerk bill. They all look like damned fools now.
I wonder if this is being reported on the “news”. Will CNN have a townhall on this incident?

The more President Trump pushes for armed school staff, the better the deterrent effect.
I get your point, the media can’t be trusted to not sway things one way or the other. We should not do it either.
But no one can take a chance the the killer has done all the damage he wanted to do unless he throws his weapon on the ground. Something this guy did not do.
This won’t have a very long press cycle.
I hope we don’t have another round of school walkouts.
