Here in my city, I encounter on a daily basis graduates of Florida A&M University, an HBCU. I’ve been less than impressed with the abilities of 95% of these folks, they write and speak at about an 8th grade level.

The FIU student interviewed on fox couldn’t even speak English.

Wow, they speak at 8th grade level? That’s really good for them, I rarely hear anything above 4th grade where I am.

I gave directions to a prospective room mate on how to get to my house so we could meet. He had a BA and MS in Civil Engineeering. He said he was at that moment at the Student Center on University Street. So I said: Go straight South from the University on University Street to 1106 S University which is 4 blocks due South of the University.

I waited and waited. A couple hours later he called. He was still looking for my place. He had driven to a University Avenue that ran East and West in another town.

That Civil Engineer with a Masters Degree is now designing bridges.
